St. David's Healthcare
The St. David's HealthCare is a partnership between the St. David's HealthCare System and HCA, the largest healthcare company in the nation. The Partnership was formed in 1996 and includes four acute care hospitals, three outpatient surgery centers, a comprehensive rehabilitation hospital, a geropsychiatric hospital, two freestanding outpatient imaging centers and physical therapy clinics throughout the Austin area.
St. David's is the seventh largest private employer in the Austin area with over 5,000 employees. There are in excess of 2,000 members on the medical staff. In 2001, we were honored to be co-named "Employer of the Year" by the Texas Workforce Network. No organization within the healthcare industry had previously won this prestigious recognition.

- Over 59,000 total surgeries performed
